And the cover of I Am The Black Gold Of The Sun By Nuyorican Soul (New York house Gods Masters at Work working under a pseudonym) is one of my favourite ever cover versions. And just to top it off, the 4hero remix of Nuyorican Soul’s version of I Am The Black Gold Of The Sun is, in my opinion, the best remix ever. ..

Yes, the vocals on the Nuyorican Soul version were by Jocelyn (as were many of the tracks on that album) but the original was by Rotary Connection which featured Minnie Ripperton
