Some bright spark has done a bit of photo-shopping to supposedly show next week’s Economist cover. It made me laugh (but then I’ve always been easily amused).
I actually read The Economist whenever I travel and, on my way back from Dublin, read this week’s issue – apparently it’s not all the banker’s fault, and we’re not all doomed. Yet.

It’s surprising how much of this “economic meltdown” is media driven. Don’t get me wrong, it’s obviously pretty bad otherwise Governments wouldn’t be stepping in, but I don’t think we’re all going to be penniless and homeless just yet. Hopefully.
