Amazing Veet Ad From Down Under (Literally)

It was only the other day that I read an article claiming that some of the most interesting and exciting digital marketing was coming out of Australia. Well, it seems that the same could be claimed for their offline marketing too. Whoever came up with this ad for the hair removal cream Veet, which was placed in Australia’s Daily Telegraph, should be given the rest of the year off. Seriously. This is inspired.

Does anyone else have any nice examples of tongue in cheek advertising around the inaguration?

  1. Awesome! That is a really clever advert, simple, funny, memorable, viral…really good.

Glad you liked it. Did you sue your parents when they Christened you?

    Hahhahaa

I’m surprised he didn’t close his comment with “Keep up the good work!”

  4. Ciarán says:

I nearly deleted it but was impressed at the effort of spamming in person.

If Veet’s the best placed ad, check this one out http://2.bp.blogspot.com/_ma8Kt4Er-XU/STcVaLUs8vI/AAAAAAAAAwA/EUiDwqdB7uA/s1600-h/adfaj dkflj.bmp

Everything on this site is the opinion of me, Ciarán Norris, and no-one else, including my employers and anyone else I know. I guess that it's probably obvious, but thought I should probably make it explicit. Anyway, enjoy!
